Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance (New Zealand) Limited (1998-99) Project Manager for Workers' Compensation; setting up Fusion Insurance Services.

Life Office Association of New Zealand Inc. (1991-97)
As Chief Executive, responsible for management of the Secretariat and representation of the Association to politicians and to the business community. 

Ministry of Commerce (1989-91) As General Manager, Finance and Administration, responsibilities included Computing Services, Library, Information Centre, Planning, Finance, and Administration, reporting directly to the Chief Executive.

Housing Corporation of New Zealand (1985-89)
Responsible for Funding and Investments, Data Processing Systems and Services; Accounts Division; and the development of Strategic Planning in the Corporation.

State Services Commission (1966 - 1985) Secretary, State Services Commission1980 - 1985, responsible for the execution of Commission decisions, and for the finances and general administration of the Office.  The role of Secretary included liaison with all governments departments and agencies, and frequent meetings with ministers and officials covering all portfolios. This role also included being the Secretary of the Niue Public Service Commission and entailed visits to Niue to meet with The Premier and government officials. From 1966 – 1980 had various roles, including computer system design and implementation, and management auditing.
